Sorry for late delivery of today's hot tips ... problem with technology!

Brian had 3 winners and a couple of places yesterday so listen up...

2.30 Jersey Stakes (Class 1) (Group 3). 7 f

There could be a good each way bet here in Field of Dream, a 33/1 shot which beat Red Jazz in the Guineas. However, Mark Johnston trained Shakespearean should win this. SHAKESPEARIAN won recently at Epsom and has been placed in this race in favour of yesterday’s St James Palace Stakes which may have proved a shrewd move given Canford Cliffs sound run to the line.

Main bet: SHAKESPEARIAN 7/2 to win. Field of Dream 14/1 e/w.

3.05 Windsor Forest Stakes (Class 1) (Group 2) (fillies & Mares) 1m straight.

Sahpresa carries a 5lb penalty and ShamwarI Lodge is going from strength to strength if his recent Irish win is anything to go by. However, last year’s winner Spacious is back to regain the crown but will be up against hot opposition with Sir Michael Stout’s STRAWBERRYDAIQUIRI. Showed a creditable performance at Newmarket recently in the Dahlia Stakes from which she is expected to improve.

Main bet: STRAWBERRYDAIQUIRI 7/2 to win and/or Spacious 7/1 e/w.

3.50 Prince of Wales’s Stakes (Class 1) (Group 1). 1m 2f

France is very good at landing the spoils with this race an today could be no exception. BYWORD trained by Andre Fabre is one thing but when you consider he is out of the fantastic Peintre Celebre – well, you’ve just got to take notice. A winner of the Maisons-Laffitte and coming a close second to the amazing Goldikove in the Prix d’Ispahan in Group 1 company means respect – especially when you consider that the 1st and 2nd were 10 length ahead of the field! Nuff said I say!

Main bet: BYWORD 11/4 to win.

4.25 Royal Hunt Cup (Heritage Handicap) (Class 2) 1m straight.

30 thunder to post. Dandy Boy may go of favourite and is highly fancied but I rather like ACROSTIC. He proved himself a worthy winner at Your recently and is held in high esteem by Luca Cumani following his Coral Challenge win at Sandown in July. Mark Johnson trained St Moritz has a 40% strike rate going for it and could offer a tasty each way at 18/1.

Main bet: ACROSTIC 10/1 e/w St Moritz 18/1 e/w.

5.00 Queen Mary Stakes (Class 1) (Group 2) (Fillies) 5f

Maqaasid will likely go off favourite following a slow start on her debut but MOONLIT GARDEN has the edge. Following a cracking performance at the Curragh she looks to have the edge over Maqaasid, The Sydney Arms and Penny’s Pearl. The trainer Dermot Weld is probably not travelling all the way from Ireland for nothing!

Main bet: MOONLIT GARDEN 4/1 to win.

5.35 Sandringham Rated Stakes (Class 1) (Handicap) (Listed Race) (3yr olds) 1m straight

Sir Michael Stout enters SAFINA but it has to be said that we should err on the side of caution here. The horse won at Chester recently but did not necessarily shine. A better race was to be seen in the Nell Gwyn at Newmarket with a creditable 4th place. However, improvement beckons and it has to be said that not much else in the field appears to have very much going for it.

Main bet: SAFINA 9/2 e/w.

Good Luck!
